As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will lead our marketing operations practice and will be expected to be a specialist in both Marketing Automation and Sales Enablement & Automation. You will be responsible for optimizing and managing our clients’ marketing and sales automation platforms to drive lead generation, customer engagement, and overall revenue growth. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing campaigns, nurturing leads, automating sales processes, and analyzing data to continually improve our marketing and sales strategies. We're seeking a highly-skilled and experienced professional who can take our automation efforts to the next level. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

Marketing and Sales Automation Management: 

  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of all marketing and sales automation campaigns using platforms like HubSpot, Pardot, Salesforce (High Velocity, Pardot), and Marketo 

  • Create and optimize automated workflows and sales cadences to drive lead generation, lead nurturing, and customer engagement. 

  • Ensure email marketing campaigns are effectively executed, including list segmentation, content creation, and A/B testing. 

  • Automate sales processes to enhance lead qualification, lead scoring, and lead handoff to the sales team. 

  • Monitor and maintain data hygiene and database/CRM health to ensure accurate targeting and reporting. 

  • Ability to sell marketing automation services, including pitching services, developing strategies for RFPs and closing new business wins  

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate marketing funnels holistically, recommend lead flow setups and optimize marketing strategies for B2B and B2C  


Campaign Development and Execution: 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective marketing and sales campaigns that align with business goals. 

  • Build and deploy email marketing campaigns, including writing and editing email copy, designing templates, and scheduling campaigns. 

  • Implement multi-channel marketing and sales automation strategies, integrating email, social media, and other digital marketing channels. 
     
Analytics and Reporting:

  • Regularly analyze campaign performance, generate reports, and provide insights to optimize marketing and sales efforts. 

  • Utilize data to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. 

  • A/B test campaigns and workflows to optimize conversion rates, engagement, and sales effectiveness. 


Marketing and Sales Technology Evaluation: 

  • Stay up-to-date with marketing and sales automation trends, tools, and best practices. 

  • Evaluate and recommend new marketing and sales automation technologies or integrations to enhance campaign and sales effectiveness. 


Team Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with the internal account teams and client sales teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and alignment with marketing and sales objectives. 

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the marketing and sales automation team, fostering skill development and growth. 

  • Manage and foster junior team members’ growth  

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing operations, marketing automation and sales automation, including hands-on experience with all or most platforms listed above  

  • Proficiency in email marketing, lead nurturing, sales automation and enablement, and campaign execution. 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. 

  • Exceptional communication and writing skills. 

  • Experience with HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices. 

  • Adept at A/B testing and optimizing campaign and sales performance. 

  • Knowledge of CRM systems and integration with marketing and sales automation platforms. 

  • Detail-oriented, with excellent project management skills. 

  • Certifications in marketing automation and sales automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce) are a plus.
